About Me

Johanna Hyland lives halfway between Chicago and Detroit in Kalamazoo, MI.  She is halfway in life as a parent with two kids in college and another recently married. She's not to the grandparent half yet. Moving on from many years of Dental Hygiene and Bible Study Teacher/Leader... Johanna is anticipating the next half of life..that's just waiting to be written. Johanna's favorite things include: books you can't put down kayaking Greek salad "Words with Friends" creative party planning eBay road trips friend & family times  the beach summer sweet tea. She also loves spending time with her husband - Lynn, their three kids - Eric, Kristen and Cassidy, a daughter-in-law - Cecilia plus.. the herd...a very old Brittany Spaniel - Jewel, two rescue cats - Spice and Timmie...and her fluffy furry pal - "Sugar-cat".
